Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) was in delegation to Singapore accompanying the Hon’ble Minister of State with Independent Charge for Power, Coal, New and Renewable Energy in the Government of India, Mr Piyush Goyal, on 23rd of May 2016. The business delegation was led by Mr Harshvardhan Neotia, President FICCI and supported by High commissioner of India.
Session at Marina Bay Sands, started with a keynote address by Mr Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Minister of State with Independent Charge for Power, Coal, New and Renewable Energy in the Government of India followed by Investors meeting with the Minister and FICCI delegation.
The Business delegation visited ITE Singapore, which was arranged by High commissioner of India. Afternoon session INDIA ENERGY TECHNOLOGY & INVESTORS MEET was organized by FICCI in partnership with High Commission of India in Singapore, Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) and Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS). It started with opening remarks by H.E. Mr Vijaya Thakur Singh, High Commissioner of India to Singapore. The meeting was attended by Utilities, Cleantech companies, technology incubators, sovereign funds, mutual funds, pension funds, private equity and banks which was followed by an interactive session with energy technology players and investors.
